Most Accessible Community in WA Awards (MACWA) 2024 Coming Soon!
MACWA is an initiative that provides an opportunity for Local Governments to showcase their commitment to inclusive and accessible communities. Based on Local Government Disability Access Inclusion Plans, the MACWA Awards seek to recognise those Cities, Towns and Shires who demonstrate that they have exceeded minimum legislative requirements with a creative and innovative approach.
These Awards provide Local Governments an opportunity to promote their programs, services, facilities, public open spaces and information technology to the sector and the community. This provides awareness of the work being done to ensure that people with disability, their families and carers are welcomed, included and catered for in the community.
We encourage you to contribute to the 2024 awards which are coming soon!
